Editing Citations: Adding Page Numbers. Click on the Update Citations and Bibliography in the EndNote tab in Word. Click on the citation you wish to edit. Go to the EndNote tab in Word. Click on Edit & Manage Citation(s). Make the changes to the citation that you require e.g. Add a page number; Click on OK.
In EndNote, click on FileClick on Output StylesClick on Edit ##### Style or Open Style Manager to select a different style to edit.Style Manager(Click to highlight the style you want to edit then click Edit in the lower right corner)Style Editor gives you information about the style and allof the fields you can manipulateBe careful with the changes you make. If you make a mistake you will have tore-download the style from the EndNote website2. Click on Template under Bibliography to makeyour edits3. Put the cursor at the end of the line of thereference type you want to editAdd several hard returns (enter button)Click on Insert Field (upper right corner)(You can edit all of them if you wish but youshould probably focus on the types you use most frequently)4. Select Research NotesYou may add any field you are usingif you want it to print out in a bibliography, but for annotatedbibliographies, you will want to use the Research Notes field5. Add several more hard returns (Enter button) toadd spaces between your references in a bibliography6. Click File then Save As7.
Name the new Output Style(You should probably keep theoriginal style name and just add “annotated” to the end8. Click the lower “X” in the top right to closethe style editorNow when you click on the Output Style box and SelectAnother Style, you will see your new annotated style in the list.
